While I joined workshop I heard, the Adda session where
Md Najmul Hasan vai said he is a student from Mirpur and he told us that he is weak in English.He can read but his problem is understanding English . He wants to understand English novels.
Md Ashik vai who is also weak in English and wants to improve his grammatical problems.
Then Jannatul Nayem apu was from Comilla. She wanted to improve speaking. Sir told her to wait at least 4 workshops.
Then Lipi Sd apu told that she completed reading zero category posts. Now she is reading one category posts for the second time. She is finding some posts difficult. She was telling about her experience that she cannot write and speak properly. She also told about workshop can change our life .
Then Nazmul Hashan Noyon vai was outside and he read zero category posts five times. Due to his business, he cannot concentrate on reading but he will from tomorrow. He also talked about reading for beginners. He said that reading works like a magic for our improvement .
Ariyan vai also finished SSC and HSC level books and started reading zero category posts. He already finished reading some posts. He also shared his workshop journey. He said that Razib sir challenged him , how he changed his life within 2 months. He was so frustrated and he didnot think about continuing his education. He also said that really beginners can think first time, it is a lost project but after completing some workshops, they will see the change .
Kazi Sajjad vai also shared his reading condition and he also completed class 6 books but he felt problem to finish it and he also find out the reason about his problem and that was his in course exam. He also shared about his experience. Last time, he talked in English in his class party and he felt very happy by getting his teacher complement .
Important advices from Jannat apu
Jannat apu welcomed us and she was also happy to hear about our reading. She said that she was happy to see our workshop related posts. Apu told us about our English journey which is mandatory in every step of our lives. Even if we want to read newspapers and magazines, we must have English knowledge. For research works, it is very important because we need to read and search in Google through English. She said that our every step in our life English is important. Reading skill is an important factor for this process. Then all words will come to our mind automatically by reading books .
She also told us how we can read.Some of us also think to go to coaching or listen to BBC but the simplest way to practice reading is to read class 1-12 English books.
She also explained why we willread. You can see from the books that from class one the sentences are so simple and gradually it becomes difficult in subsequent books.Apu also gave a short description about all the categories of our Search English Group in reading section. After completing all categories then reading English literature books will become easy. She also shared her experience about reading English literature books. We can also read English comic books. In short we have to read in English , we can read in our interest like romantic or adventure.
Then sir reminded us about the key points of our practice
—Reading Class 1-12 books for one month with 5 time
—Following eye reading method must
—Avoiding seeking to dictionary
Conversation Part:
1: Lipi apu and Amita apu
Lipi apu said hi to Amita apu . Amita apu already finished reading class 12 books two times and plans to read zero category posts.She shared while Lipi apu asked about her reading condition. Amita apu also said that Lipi apu’s reading practice is going like rocket. Apu’s reading condition is really going well and she also tried to read and tried to understated what is the main or pinned point of that post. She completed 2 category books. She will start reading English literature books.From her voice,we felt she was very happy like her dream came true. Amita apu was also happy for her and he also said that actually English literature books are difficult. Then Amita apu asked about her about any job exam or any future plan. Lipi apu said that he has an exam in the upcoming Friday and she wants to be a banker and then she has a plan to study English. She was also taking some job exams to test her preparation. All of you know bank exam questions are in English and she wants to give this exam. Amita apu also agreed with her and he said that if Lipi apu is selected there will be less time to take preparation for viva. So she needs to prepare now and English is also important for her. Without English we cannot gather more knowledge. That’s why she is also joining this workshop and taking it seriously for her professional learning or job. Amita apu also talked about the importance of IT in our country. She said all the things are going through ITand everything are going in English to Bangla or vice versa. If we have a good command over English then it is easy to do. She gave an example by mentioning Jannnat apu and said that she is doing many things and learning by Searching in English or researching. Lipi apu also agreed with Amita apu. If we want to use any device that also need English. To read international posts or articles, we need to know English. Lipi apu also tried to know what is the main point in English after reading. Lipi apu also spoke about Jannat apu. Because of her good command in English, she can easily give posts about startup post in Bangla after researching.
Amita apu also shared his experience about many accountant related software and she realized that there is less content in Bangla. She thinks that we have a good chance if you are in good English in Bangla tutorial of that software. In this regard, she told about our another group of Digital Skills for Bangladesh group that is helping to build our IT basic. If we learn English, we can do something for our country people by doing something. So she is now completely focusing on learning English to enrich her knowledge.She also advised us to enrich our knowledge. We have to read, Lipi apu also said that reading habit has many benefits. We are going to be a developing country, it is very important, she said. She also said that after passing 12 years in English we cannot use it properly but now her views about English changed after getting knowledge from workshop. She also talked about her first condition about her honors class. She thought what was that she is regretting if workshop has then she could do in her exam.
2: Me and Poly apu
Allhamdulilah, we talked about our daily topics. Apu is doing really good. I am impressed to see her improvement and her enthusiastic mentality. May Allah fulfill your wishes .
3: Nazmul Hashan vai and Zahirul Islam vai
Nazmul hasan vai gave salam to Mukul vai. Nazmual vai was facing some problem due to his office work where Mukul vai also faced same problem in his office work and he was reading class 7 book. Nazmul vai tried to remember Mukul vai’s reading condition and told him that he is going so fast. Mukul vai said that it is good and we try to completed as soon as possible for reading task. Nazmul hasan vai was busy in the past days. That is why he could not concentrate on his practice. Nazmual vai currently lives in rural area where he faces network problem . Mukul vai also said that all of us once lived in rural but the matter of sorrow we forgot about this and are becoming robots. Nazmul vai said that he really enjoys his rural life and Mukul vai said that it is really good for health. Nazmul vai enjoys moonlit night though he faces network problem.
Mukul vai said that there is no air, water pollution. Yes, village has its share of problems. From Mukul vai’s talking, we know that how badly he missed his rural days and he also admitted it.
3: Najmun Nahar apu & Tajmin Ara apu
They started their conversation with greetings. They also shared their conditions about today’s activities. Tajmin apu introduced herself formally. Tajmin apu is upset because of her exam. She wanted to be a teacher. Nazmun apu told her that exam is not a big deal and told her not to be upset.Tajmin apu is reading class 9 books and she also said that she is always busy with her tuiton, cooking and other works. Nazmun apu also appreciated her hard work. Nazmun apu also cannot read more because of her busy time. Nazmun apu has a 2 year old daughter. Apu said that our angel is not a naughty girl but sometimes she makes some noise. When apu has any exam, she calls her mom for helping her .
4: Ariyan vai and Aminul Islam vai
Aminul vai gave salam and greetings to Ariyan vai . Ariyan vai was joining today’s workshop from his laptop. Ariyan vai and Aminul vai introduced themselves formally. Aminul vai said that his practice is not going well but he thinks that Ariyan vai is doing well . Aminul vai is from Bhola but he has little knowledge about his district. Then Ariyan vai shared his district scenery including Padma river.
5: Md Kamrojjaman vai and Mehadi Hasan vai
They also started their conversation with greetings. Then they shared about their study conditions where one is a graduate and the other is a honors student( maybe). Mehadi vai also a job-seeker. For Mehadi vai today was his first workshop whereas kamrojjaman vai joined one month ago. Kamrojjaman vai also shared his reading practice but Mehadi vai tried to collect books and shops. He will start soon. Mehadi vai said that we cannot speak properly due to practice . They talked about many things . Then Mehedi vai shared his problem with sir and sought his advice. Sir told him to be regular member in SEG and follow the rules.
6: Sayka apu and Moriam apu
Sayka apu said hello to Moriam apu. They were very happy to make an conversation with each other. Then Moriam apu asked about Sayka apu’s baby and Sayka apu told us that our this angel is doing fine. Moriam apu’s childenr are also okay but apu’s child was suffering eye problem and apu also went to Doctor. Sayka apu aksed her if she is passing days with devices or not. Moriam apu told us to pray for her. (Due to network problem Moriam apu cannot continue )
Then Asha apu joined with Sayka apu by saying Hi . Sayka apu told us that guest in her house but she continued her practice.Asha apu appreciated Sayka apu’s voice. I think Asha apu read my mind and really it is so amazing. Then Asha apu asked about Sayka apu’s baby’s condition. Sayka apu told us that she already talked with two doctors and the rest will be in India treatment. Sayka apu wants to be anideal mother and wants to be something to prove others misunderstandings. Then Asha apu wished her to get her dream one day. Asha apu wants to be a speaker and does not find out how it will be possible though she is passing more times in this group . This is her motive to join the workshop. Sayka apu also wished her and told her to not to be frustrated because she said that to kill frustration and be a strong person by practicing.She also shared how she is doing to fulfill her dream. Asha apu also agreed with her. Asha apu finished zero category posts 5 times but she is also reading now. Though she does not get any partner, she thinks she has less problem in speaking. She also wants to speak like our others person.
7: Zobayer vai and Syed parvez vai
They started their conversation with greetings. They shared their current activities like what they were doing before making conversation . Both of them completed their graduation. Then Zobayer vai asked Syed vai about his reading condition . Syed vai said that his reading condition is not so good and he will start his practice after collecting books.Zobayer vai aso agreed that reading is important for improving skill and he also focuses on reading. Currently, he is reading class 11 English book. Syed vai also said that after practicing, we will improve ourselves and Syed vai told us not to hesitate while speaking.Then Syed vai introduced himself formally.
8: Fouzia Binte Apu and Sara Rowshan apu
They exchanged salams. Sara apu was not well in the past days. Hence, she could not join. Fouzia apu also shared about her reading condition and she told us she had finished class 1-12 books 5 times. Sara apu is a dentist and now she is practicing and is also taking preparation for masters admission. She is also a busy person. Today was her 5th workshop and she also completed 4th conversation. Then Sara apu wanted to know about Fouzia apu’s future life. Apu already passed 30 years. So there is no chance for job but she wants to be something with English. Sara and Fouzia apu also shared their daily activities. From their conversation, we learnt that they are busy with their works in different ways [ Sorry I missed this session because I was watching today’s match ]
9: Kazi Sajjad vai &Lipi Sd apu
Sajjad vai gave salam to apu . Lipi apu was listing conversation that time , Then sajjad vai introduced himself very confidently and formally . What I will write about lipi apu , we knew already from first conversation . Then apu wanted to know about vai’s family , Then vai expressed about his family and his has three sisters and three brothers. Lipi is from commerce background and a job seeker also. Apu was happy to know about vai’s district because she didn’t go there . while apu wanted to know about cake then vai told some of cake with his proper knowledge. Reading is Lipi apu’s hobby. Sajjad vai wants to be a good speaker that he finds out after joining group. He wants to become a content writer and a motivational speaker. Today was Lipi Apu’s 18th workshop. We are really happy apu because you consider us like your family members and yes, we also agree that workshop is changing our lives gradually .
Last 5 minutes of Anu apu
Anu apu was happy to listen to our conversations and seeing our improvements. When we understand that how workshop is changing our skills then we are becoming serious. Apu told us that is true indeed. Today, apu told us why we shall write workshop summary. She said that it is like practicing free hand writing. She said that we need to focus on reading.She said that reading input and writing is our output. She advised us while we will read that time we will hear BBC . For reading practice, we shall use eye method. Apu always tells us about reading same things repeatedly because these advices will come to our mind after hearing repeatedly .
