Well, today I am here to complete my daily task . I want to write down about some questions as well as answer of E- learning based on my knowledge . You are highly appreciated for putting your question and answer or your valuable opinions .
Maybe some of you are our common mates in both search English group and Digital Skills for Bangladesh group . On October 6, 2018, it was a historical moment for DSB group because people wrote about more than 5000 comments in an adda post about E-learning . So you know with the blessing of technology, our life style in every sector is changing or upgrading day by day . So it is a common matter for education sector to bring a new change . From that question , I will write some of .
- What is E-learning ?
E stands for Electronic. E-learning is a way of learning system via electronic devices (such as Pc , Mobile ) on the internet .
- Do you have any define definition of E- learning ?
e-learning guru Dr Badrul H Khan, “ every step such as, registration, admission, classroom entry and exit, class work, attendance, discussion with course mates, feedback, exams and finally certification must take place electronically through computer and the Internet technology in a virtual campus. Everything is digitized and conducted by a system called Learning Management System (LMS).”
- History of E-learning ?
In 1924, Sidney Pressey developed the first “ Testing machine” for his introductory courses to provide drill and practice items to student . Early 1950 , Skinner presented programming related content which becomes more popular after converting to digital self-study courses .
in 2960 first computer baser Training (CBT) was introduced as Programmed Logic for Automated Teaching Operation( PLATO) .
After 1969 , when internet was created and 1970 Computer mouse and GUI invented , Information sharing process became more easy which leads the way of e-learning . From 2000 , business adopts e Learning courses where recently social media leads a new wave of e-learning .
