Hello everyone, it’s Moumi Khan.
I hope you all are very well by the blessing of Allah. I’m also well.
My home district is Barisal. At present i reside at Dhaka for my study purpose. But most of the time I stay in my village. Because i love village more. Anyways, I’m a student of Master’s course (first semister), Department of English. My subject is Literature. The name of my university is “Dhaka International University “. In a short way we call it as “DIU”. I have also completed my Honours from this University.
But now I’m also a student of another institution. That is “Search English”. Honorable Razib Ahmed sir is the founder of this group.
I’m an active member of Search English group. Though this group started it’s journey from 1 July 2016 but I joined here in 2018. I started my journey in this group from 8th October 2018. That day after taking my lunch I had started commenting here and without my prayer time and dinner time i just continued it until my sleeping. That day was an interesting day. That day i didn’t count my comment, i mean how many posts i was read or how many comments i was written I don’t know but in every post which come in front of my eyes i just read that and written comment and also replied in every comment. That day “8th October 2018” it was an memorable day in my life. It’s never possible to forget that day.
#It_was_first_turning_point_in_my_life.
From that day i never stopped my practice here still now it’s running 🙂. Then from next day that means from 9th October i started count my comment. I always tried to write 30 comments after reading 30 posts. Then sometimes i write 30 comments sometimes 40, sometimes 50. In this way i Just continued it. Then finally one day i have written 75 comments. That time my target was 100 comments.
So anyways, in my home i have some works like helping my mother in her cooking, then my study pressure and some other household works. As a female obviously we have some extra work in home like that. Sometimes cooking responsibility was mine, specially when my mother visited my grandparents house that time. So, obviously that time I was very busy because in a house there a lots of works. But i never stopped my practice here, even not for any single day. How much busy I’m it doesn’t matter, practicing here is most important to me.
Because after practicing here few days later I realized my development. Within a few days i noticed my own improvement. Even which never happened in my life, in my study life in 13/14 years that was happened within a few days.
Then after few days later I noticed that in this group here our respectable Razib Ahmed sir starts one new things that is “video uploading”. First time i couldn’t take it seriously. Obviously there is some reasons like:
1. In my whole life i never talk with anyone in English. Even not for only one minute.
2. Another tension was that, if i do any mistake then what will happen.
3. Another great tension was about pronunciation.
4. Hesitation, another common problem.
5. Topic selection, in which topic i make video etc.
So, i passed few days in this way then everyday i think that ” today i’ll upload a video” or “tomorrow i have to upload a video”. But result is zero. Already i have passed few days maybe at least one week in this way. Then finally that day come, from morning i was determined for making one video and then i done it in the evening and uploaded it 😀. That time my Midterm Exam is running.
#That_day_is_the_second_turning_point_in_my_life.
Because after uploading my video i saw one comment which was written by Razib Ahmed sir. That time it seemed to me that I was in my dream 😍. Sir said me so that i continue my practice. Then at the same time i saw that sir send me friend request 😃, which was unbelievable to me, i never thought it even not in my dream but it happeded. From that day i never stopped making video here. And already i have uploaded 1120 videos here. Inshallah, i’ll continue it in this way. Million thanks Razib Ahmes sir, undoubtedly he is my best inspiration.
#Now_i_share_with_you_about_my_improvement_in_here. Today is 22th January and i have started practicing here in 8th October so, today is 104 day in Search English group. In this 104 day i don’t know how many comments or posts i have written here, i didn’t count but a lots of. And also i uploaded 1120 videos. Now English is not too much tough to me. Now, i can write post easily , i can make video very easily which was impossible to me before joining here. Before joining here i never write any English post or never make any video. I suffered a lot for lack of english though I’m a student of English Literature. I always memorized for exam and get good result but my main result is zero.
I always suffered in dissatisfaction because i don’t know English. I don’t know to talk with anyone. But after joining here within a few days now i’m realizing my huge development. Now, reading, writing, speaking everything is more easy than previous time.
I never show any excuse for practicing. Always try to keep regularity and try to give more and more time here and as a result now i can able to write to speak. Regularity it’s most important and hard work. Without its success is impossible.
I love Search English group. Because this group never takes anything from me but always gives me a lots of things. It removes my fear and hesitation of english. Now, It’s easy to me. Now i don’t feel dissatisfaction and which is my best peace. I feel proud as member of this group.
I’m grateful to Razib Ahmed sir as he created this platform and obviously It’s the best platform for learing English. Here every members are also very friendly and always ready to give inspiration. Million thanks everyone. Inshallah, I’ll continue my journey in this way 🙂.
