Adda Scenery:
While I joined todays workshop, I heard Najmul Islam vai talking about his reading condition and he also said that he tried to give time in the middle of his job.
Then Nazmul Hashan vai said his practice is going well but he is not satisfied with this quantity. Because of job, it is hard to give more time on study. Sir gave advice to continue his practice and sir wanted to take a treat with sweet. Vai also wanted to treat with sweet for not only sir but also all with that much quantity which need .
Then Sir asked me about my reading condition. I shared my that I am reading one category post five times but my reading condition is not good as I expected . I also expressed my feeling about yesterday night special workshop . That was another lesson for me. I came to know how people can sacrifice everything to achieve their goals. I am really feeling ashamed to see my condition.
Obonty apu gave salam to sir and sahred that she finished class 9-10 book and started HSC English book.
Sonjoy vai also shared his practice condition. Where kazi sajjad vai also has finished class 9-10 books.
Then our another champion Lipi apu gave salam. Apu started to read English literature books and she told us that she could understand 50% but she could read smoothly. Sir told her to share her stories of suffering due to her poor English skill. She informed us that she got C in SSC and D in HSC exams. Due to this result, her score was low. She wanted to sit for Dhaka University exam but she is now become more confident. She follows all the advices of Anu apu. Then sir told about her. In just 70 days she is reading literature books and English is going to be her strength.
Raseda Akter apu was our new member but we did not hear anything accept a baby voice. Tajmin finished class 9 books . She also didnot give exam at Dhaka university. Her score was few marks below the requirement. Sir told her that she will read that books which are also read Dhaka varsity English department student and told her not to be worry.
Mahbubul Alom vai was from Norshindi and a new member . He is also doing job. When sir asked him why he joined the workshop . He said that he works with buyer and to make communication they have to talk .that’s why he wants to improve himself. It had been two months since he joined SE group and feels his improvements. Within this he didnot hesitate anymore, he did not feel nervous like past. Sir advised him to continue workshop.
Nazmum apu said that her reading is going well but she is not satisfied. She completed one category posts 3 times because she wants to read seriously . She wants to finish one category before next workshop and she also wants to read 2 category posts before going her home. Due to network problem of her home, she is fearing to lose workshop.
Amita apu told she has completed one category for one times but she is enjoying het reading. She also wants to focus on reading speed. Sir said that it is okay because of complex posts it will take times.
Farjana Tammana apu who is our another champion, and a member in another workshop. She shared her workshop journey. She joined workshop to improve her skills. She is doing MA from Eden . She did not know how she joined in SEG but she was trying to practice. What motivated her to practice in the group was no one corrected her mistakes. When she saw some people joining the workshop. she also joined. It has been probably nine months, she has been joining workshop. She also believes that she does not think anything if you are under theinfluence of sir advice. We just believe in sir’s advice and try to follow . Why we want to follow his advice because we suffered a lot. We did not have options when we had times. Apu also talked about other members who are married and are job holders but they are doing same jobs like us then why we cannot do this properly. Apu was also astonished to see their activities and she thought that by getting negligence from other persons, they took this step. Apu said that if you are physicall fit , if you follow sir’s advice seriously then you will definitely succeeded. Apu said that if you try heart and soul, then you can be an expert. Apu told us that why they become success because they sacrificed their joys and happiness and still now they are sacrificing . Apu also said that to set her aim. You will also realize from this group and apu gave an example by pointing herself . She wished us good luck.
Aminul Islam vai talked about accepting friend request and he tried to read everyone post about workshop related.
Valuable Lecture From Anu apu
Anu apu told about her workshop by agreeing with Farjana apu. She also pointed their success only because of taking reading seriously. They are now surviving and they are also hold a stage where they do not have to worry about their future at least they will do something in English . Apu told us that who join this workshop, they should take reading seriously. For joining this workshop, our demands are different. Why we should join this workshop and what is our plan , we must find out by ourselves . If we join her by following others but we have no interest they we will not survive these stages. Apu told about Lipi apu who is our champion from this workshop and we are vivid witness of her success.
To reading practice, we should read class 1-12 books. but first time some are making problem to read. Later they cannot stay at workshop. One more thing, in our workshop, sir doesn’t tell us to read any rules. To read repeatedly a book will help us to make reading into a habit and speak. Reading has a power to develop skills. To read, you should also follow an effective way that is eye reading. We are habituated to read loudly. Why apu talked about reading everyday on same topics, she told us. These types of rules will come to our mind automatically, when we will practice. To avoid seeking dictionary because it is a time consume matter and when we will work professionally , we will be dependent on it . For this reason we should guess the unknown words on the basis of sentence. Apu also told us to focus on our reading speed, she also told us to set up a target and try to finish with in the times. In this way, we can continue our reading practice.
Conversation Scenarios :
1: Lipi apu and Amrita apu
Lipi apu hi to amrita apu. Lipi apu was so happy because today, one of her dreams fulfilled and she got literature books from sir and anu apu. Amita apu is also happy for her and congratulated her.Then Lipi apu also shared her reading practice and she also pointed out some topics what she has already finished. Apu has a plan. After finishing reading she will focus on writing. Apu also shared that she was continuing her reading while she was in workshop. Because she wants to improve her all skills. Amita apu finished zero category posts. When she didn’t join some workshop she continued her practice. She also moved on one category posts. She got call for interview from a call center but she has no interest because she wants to concentrate fully in her accounting. Lipi apu told that she missed her and she felt very comfortable to talk with her. Apu also tried to follow all rules. She told Amrita apu by saying that as far as she knew her. She will do good in her field.
Apu also wants to be a fluent speaker. She wanted to know about Amrita apu’s job preparation. Apu also shared her job preparation experience but she tried to focus first on English. She doesn’t like Bangla grammar so she left it for last. Apu also wanted to know about Lipi apu’s bank exam. She applied for cash and trying to do. She said that she want to focus on reading. Because she thinks, it is very important for us as a developing country. Apu also shared her feeling when she talked with our super champion apu. Apu is also trying to measure her English skills in giving exam like how much she has improvement . She also thinks to read more and more and takes a responsibility to finish literature books early .
Amita apu also said about academic studying . She tries to make sentence in a good style and she also feels her improvement that she can make sentence freely. She is now confident to speak in English with other persons. She also tries to talk with her younger brother. Apu told her about special workshop experience. She is also amused to join that group. She talked for 3 hours with Jannat apu, Fahreen apu and Ahad vai. She highly praised Ahad vai’s speaking style. He spoke like a foreigner. Apu also said that she also got job offer which was her previous job. They requested her to joint Dhaka branch but apu didn’t want to stay in Dhaka and she told that if they permit to join at Chittagong office, then she will. Alhamdulilah, they agreed. Why apu was telling because she wants to focus on reading and she can join job any times. She just wants to share her joy with us.
2: Me and Fouxia apu
Alhamdulilah , Today , I talked Fouzia apu . But most of the times I talked like a stupid. I am really grateful to you apu for giving this chance . Next time , I will be more careful about time management .
3: Syed Parvez vai and Nazmun Nahar apu
They started their conversation with greetings . Syed vai said that he did not take his meal and his friends also waited for finishing his workshop. Nazmuan apu shared her reading practice by sharing some of post titles and she is enjoying her reading . Vai was reading books from online. Apu told that she also read books from online but after hercomputer malfunctioned, she tried to read from pdf by printing and also she did not leave her reading. She is continuing her practice with mobile and tries to give time on studies. Apu told us that in her home, her mother came and she cooked for her family and her daughter was staying outside. So she can concentrate on workshop. Her mother cooked bitter apple and lintil mesh.Vai is not counting how much he is attending workshop. Apu is attending maybe 11th times in workshop. Apu shared her first workshop experience . She also said about the importance of workshop for getting job or promotion. She also gets inspiration from SEG and DSB group. She also showed her gratitude to our sir and members. She said how much her husband and her family support her to continue her students. She said that she could not carry on her study or other things without her husband . Apu is really grateful and thankful to him for his helpful mentality . Vai appreciated her practice and he wants to collect books. Apu said that to read from online which is easy process . Vai said that he has no laptop but intends to buy one as soon as possible. Apu said that vai can collect books from nearby primary schools. Apu also said that reading has a great power to develop others skills by agreeing with Anu apu. Apu is astonished to see her own improvement by saying that she can understand most of the words without seeing dictionary. Without hesitation, shyness, she is doing great. Apu can write more than 500 words easily .
4: Moriam apu and Mehadi Hasan vai
After long time Mehadi vai is here. Apu gave salam to vai. Apu said that her days was amazing and she focused on reading. Where Vai is focusing on reading. As I said, vai was missing from our workshop because of her daughter’s illness. She was admitted to hospital and alhamdulillah, She is okay now. That is why vai can relax and join and read. Moriam apu comes from Khulna and staying in Dhaka. She completed her post graduate and is seeking job. Vai and apu were talking about me, I am really feeling shy. Thank you both of you dear vai and apu. ………..I should quit this part……
Vai live in Dhaka but vai’s home district is chadpur. He is an engineer. Present time apu is a housewife and she is preparing for job because she believes that without taking a preparation, just giving an exam has no value, I totally agree with her. Vai also appreciated her and vai talked about reading practice by pointing anu apu advices . Watching horror movies is apu’s hobby. Apu shared her thoughts like me that she also felt little bore after hearing class 1-12 books to read. Why we should read? After finishing those books, we feel the actual meaning of that practice. Apu feels to write anything without pre thinking.
5: Nazmul Hasan vai and Ariyan vai
After some days later Ariyan vai has come our workshop . Nazmul vai felt a little bit headache due to his business but he thought it will be okay after taking a nap while Ariyan vai was good. Ariyan vai is reading zero category posts. He couldn’t not join workshop because of his family problem. Where our Nazmual vai is reading one category but he is not satisfied with this practice. Though there is nothing to do because of his job, he cannot give much time. Whenever he gets time, he triesto use it properly. He also picked a month for completing practice. Ariyan vai joined this workshop after taking dinner where Nazmul vai planned to take meal after completing workshop.
Then Ariyan vai wanted to know the passing times of Nazmul vai with SEG. Vai told that he cannot give more times because of doing a job but he hopped that he will return as like past and will do practice more and more.
Ariyan vai said that he read Nazmul vai’s long post where he described about himself and workshop. Nazmul vai agreed with Ariyan vai and he told that after completing workshop, He tries to write….( I am smiling now but why… Nazmul vai knows better )
Then Nazmul vai wanted to know about ariyan vai. Ariyan vai shared his family member is that he lost his father 10 years ago and one of his brothers is staying inSaudi Arabia and his sisters are also getting married. In one of his posts, he shared about his sister’s marriage.
6: Tajmin apu and Md. Kamrijjaman vai greetings.
After sharing greetings they wanted to know each other’s activities .Vai was watching a cricket match while apu was trying to write our conversation summary. They introduced so formally . (Sorry my roommates are returning from outside, So I couldn’t hear anything) .
Vai likes to travel. He shared some of his travel experiences. Apu wanted to be a BCS cadre in education whereas vai wants to speak English fluently and get a good job. Vai has completed SSc level books and is reading HSC level where apu completed class 9 books. After completing, workshop, vai also will take his dinner. Apu likes to read everything like story and she feels happy. she also follow every effective process which are given by sir and anu apu. Before joining workshop, he cannot speak and write properly.
7: Aminul Islam vai and Rabeya apu
Apu gave salam to vai. Both of them were fine by the grace of Almighty. Today Rabeya apu passed a wonderful day. Now, reading and writing are her main hobbies. She has many hobbies like traveling and watching movies. Vai is facing problem because last night he could not sleep more. Apu told us that apu’s reading condition is not good but she wants to improve. Vai also said that his reading condition is not good. He is suffering sleeping condition. Because of this, he could not achieve his target. Apu is a CSE student who completed her graduation last year. She is doing job and has a one year old son. She is living with her family. Her mother, little sister and her husband’s family. Vai said that, he is from Bhola and is a student of Islamic studies. Apu is following Anu Apu, Jannat apu, Lipi apu. Apu also wanted to be a good writer. To be a content writer is vai’s hobby after reading a post about this. Vai shared his workshop and English journey where he joined since one month ago. He is also noticing his improvement.
7: Nushrat sultan apu and Zahirul Islam mukul vai
This pair continue their workshop with greetings. Vai is a private job holder and lives at Gazipur. (There was anetwork problem) Nushrat apu comes from Chittagong. She is not a job holder but she is doing tuition. Vai is reading class 7 books. Vai also shared his reading practice to improve his English skills.
Both of them, congratulated to Lipi apu for her enthusiastic tremendous efforts. They are talking about Lipi apu’s talking style. Vai wants to share his new work by getting permission from apu. Vai talked about that their new system is improving network quality. Vai is busy with this. Vai tries to know the ICT export and imports material about the quality, system. Vai also talked about DSB group where anyone can know about web design, sql, content writer, basic knowledge . All of our DSB group members are working hard and they share their knowledge. Apu also wants to develop ICT basic but now she only wants to focus on English.
8: Sonjoy vai and Asha apu.
Sonjoy vai said ‘Hi’to apu. This is their second conversation. Though they are well known from their first conversation. Apu wanted to change some topics . Sonjoy vai was taking dinner but apu had a plan after completing her workshop, she will take. Vai told about his job. Already they are three thousand girls to help their education . Apu read for going job after waking up but she didnot go at proper time because she was busy on Friday. That is why there was a mismatch. After going office, she was busy till 8 pm and now she is doing workshop.
Can you imaginehow she is doing all this? Vai again shared his today’s task like what he did in his office and submitted his survey report and also tried to give time on practice. Vai also congratulated Lipi apu. Vai also said that he got chance to talk to other persons. Asha apu also said that it is a great achievement for apu and she thinks that obviously we should follow sir and Anu apu’s advice. Apu cannot read constantly for a long time. She frequently loses her patience while reading the long posts in category 1. She doesn’t feel good while she reads one category like zero category. Vai said that he has a balanced condition like not good or not bad. Though he is doing job, he tries to give much time to practice. Apu told us that she will follow Anu apu’s advice and set a target to finish. Vai also wants to complete his target.
Sir wanted to know his improvement. Vai shared that he was not getting a good job in spite of completing honors two years ago. After joining workshop, he got a job. In his job, he attended a meeting where he could understand their conversation and also talked with others. His recent job, is not like his expected job, but he is more confident to switch his job like international group.
Zobayer vai said that Though he wanted to complete 1 category within 10 days he couldnot because of his problem but he will finish soon.
9 : Afroza Sulatana apu and Obonty apu
They exchanged salam. Obonty apu said that she is a housewife with two sons and lives at Mirpur.Afroza apu completed his Honors and Masters from Eden Mohila College from accounting. She is teaching some students and is also searching for job. Both of them did not finish dinner. Afroza apu lives with one sister and brothers with her parents at Mohammadpur. Obonty apu also talked about her family members . I think, a nice story was Obonty apu’s memorable days. Afroza apu also shared her memorable days while she got CGP5 and attended a party with her mom. They also enjoyed a concert. Afroza apu is three year older than me and Obonty apu is two year old. Afroza apu completed her SSC in 2006 and Obonty apu in 2007
10: Najmul vai and Kazi Sajjad vai
This is our last pair who shared greetings. Kazi vai was sitting on a chair and told us that his mobile network was not good. Then Lipi apu continued conversation with vai. Vai shared that his reading condition is little bit well. Due to his job, it is hard to get time to practice. After having dinner, apu returned to workshop . she has passed a great day today. She was also happy to see our improvement. She told us how it was a matter of great surprise that overcame our hesitation. Vai is from Chadpur but he is currently living in Dhaka for his job. Apu is living with her parents and little sister who is a HSC student . She also addressed herself as a regular student of SEG.
Watching movie, cricket matchs, reading and gardening are vai’s hobbies. She is happy by remembering her magical times to meet with her inspirational persons. Apu told vai about the reading speed . To measure time, we can set a time to read some news portal, or website. Vai is a telecom engineer. Wow, To set up 4G, all over Bangladesh, is vai’s job. Recently apu wants to only focus on English and wants to be an expert in English which is her another dream .
While talking about his job experience, he said that he has been working in his current job for six months and he works with laptop to setup network. Though apu wants to be a banker and the questions patterns are in English. So apu wants to concentrate on English to do better in herexam. Apu also talked about the importance of IT knowledge . Vai also agreed with her. If there is any problem outside Dhaka, he has to leave Dhaka.
Today apu attended her 22nd workshop and she wants to continue her workshop this year. Vai does not like this job at telecom sector where his dream was to do in power sector.
At last sir gave our home task as to write an English post about workshop.
