Friends , are you surprised to see the title of my post? Yes , I am here to write about “ Jannatul Ferdows.” Basically all of my Muslim friends know the meaning of this two words ….right?
Literally “ Jannatul Ferdows “ refers to the highest paradise or haven . From my point of view , this is the most popular common name in this world . Though people spell in various ways Jannatul ferdows , Zannatul Ferdows , Jannatul ferdous , Zannatul Ferdous …the meaning remains the same.
From two or three days, we are hearing this name all the time in every social media. Yes , you are right because of Miss world Bangladesh event . Last year, another girl with exact surname was selected winner of this event. Please do not think that the main aim of my post is to talk about them .
Actually someone called me today by mention that event and stared to laugh on me by mocking . So I feel interest to know that except them , are there any famous person here or not . Unfortunately when I searched by my name , I got all result about the above two popular lady . Even you will get their biography in Wikipedia too .
This name is too much common around me. By changing my name from English has a funny history too . Once my friend asked about my facebook name, so I told him to search by my name. He replied that already he checked 2000 profile which are similar like me. In the past, I did not add all information like present. So anyone could think that my id was fake .
I have more than four friends on my friend list whose name are also Jannatul Ferdows. Once name spelling is exactly same as mine and she is my senior. One day, I opened my facebook and terrified to see one post saying “ Jannatul ferdows got engaged.” I thought that my account was hacked and someone posted this . OH! another reason behind this because I was using free Facebook , so there was no profile pic. I went through the link and tried to see info. Alhamdulillah , I got relief that my id is safe . Within a second , I changed my name in Bangla. and I love this too .
Well , come to the point, I got other two information about two persons by searching . I am really happy to see their names and think that I wish , I could be like them . One is not possible but another has a possibility .
All of you may know that one of the Bangladesh female cricketer’s name is Jannatul Ferdous. I really enjoy her play. Another one is our first female Bangladeshi paratrooper . I really admire her courage. What a challenging task you are doing which I like most . I feel so proud and honor because of both of you.
That’s all about my thinking related to my name. It is really important to have a meaningful name and to know the meaning of you own name. One of my teacher told us that a meaningful name can reflect our life.
