Adda Summary :
While I joined workshop , I heard , Razib sir was talking Bangla sentence making which is similar to English. Sir told us that English books contain sentences having words and words also consist of characters. There are 26 alphabets and 9 digits in English language. Sir also told us that we need time to adjust with English but sir believes that those who know about these 26 characters and 9 digits can speak Englsih. Their level of education does not matter.
Then Lipi apu shared some points for beginners. She told them that when you join this workshop, then think only about English. She said that if you read more then you will know many unknown words . Apu also shared her reading condition . Her prestigious quote is “Love to read it will change your life “
Nazmul vai said that he is reading zero category and cannot remember how much he reads. Then sir told him to express about his improvement for the beginners. To do better, we need to be regular. He also said that he is now confident to speak in English forone hour. Previously, he could not speak even forten minutes.
Then Sonjoy vai wanted to share his interview experience. Vai told us that if anyone whois expert in English is bound to get any job. Vai is also an example for this. After submitting CV, he was called for interview. When they questioned him then vai took permission to speak in English. He tried to give answer 50% in English with confidence. Finally, he has been selected . He wants to continue his recent job. He is also confident that he will get more job offers in future. Sir also told about Sonjoy vai and his condition when he joined first time. Sir also told us that we understand everything about our lacking but we do not do anything. Sir talked about Sonjoy vai’s dedication. Despite being busy with his work, he attended the workshops. Sir also requested everyone to be regular here who think it is useful but who are thinking that it is not useful to them then they can take their own decisions.
Then Sonjoy vai shared his feelings about his job experience with the beginners. Those who are old members knew about getting his job. He passed up a golden opportunity in “Save the Children” after getting called frequently. Vai also shared his frustrating journey after completing his Honors three years ago . He told us how much he suffered due to his weakness in English. In SSC and HSC he receivedC in English and passed honors with low marks in English . He was also afraid to apply for bank jobs but now he wants to sit for those exams.
Then Amita apu gave salam and thanked sir and shared her reading condition. She already finished zero category posts. She has plan to read more books. That is why she wants to finish his reading as soon as possible. She also tries to prove her talent by working hard. Sometimes she becomes upset for taking decision. She blames her friends and family for these.
Them my partner Poly apu gave salam and said that she is trying to finish SSC level book. Though she was busy with her exam, she will start reading jounery after finishing her exam where 2 exam are left.
Fouzia apu completed zero category post. She also read one category posts three times.
Then Sayka apu shared her problem that she cannot gave time due to her business
Then Nurul Huda vai tried to talk. He was our new member. He feels happy to join workshop and listen to our practice condition. He wanted advice from sir what will he do as new comer . He also shared his reading condition. Sir told him to read newspaper though he completed his graduation in English .
Sumon Sarkar is a new member and an active member SEG. He completed his graduation and post graduation from Botany. He is seeking advice from sir to start reading journey.He also is a job-seeker. Sir also told him to be active in workshopif he has no financial problem.
Then Helal Khan joined from Saudi Arabia. His problem is making sentence . He wanted to take sir’s advice. Sir also told him to read class 1-12 books. Since he lives in aboard, he can read pdf . After practicing for 1 month, if he faces any problem then sir will give suggestion.
Conversation Summary :
1: Lipi apu and Amita apu
The opening pair of our workshop is Lipi apu and Amita apu . They had an amazing conversation. I can only say that it was “ Outstanding.”
Lipi apu said “Hello”to Amita apu and asked about her and her family members. Amita apu said that she and her family members are suffering from fever, whereas Lipi apu’s family is absolutely fine by the blessing of Almighty.Then Amita apu shared his reading condition. She already completed SSC and HSC level books 5 timesand she also completed zero category for first time. Lipi apu wanted to know her reading condition. Lipi apu also shared his condition about 2 category posts. She said that the post are very long and there are many unknown words but she enjoyed her reading. She also said that zero category posts are more lovely post, and I think so too. There are lots of post about famous figures, Bangla literature, IT, and inspirational posts.
Amita apu agreed with her and she said that it seems to her that she is reading story books. Apu said that today was a balance day for her. She also informed us that her cousin’s marriage ceremony will be held on August 4th . So she was busy buying gift for her .She just read all post but did not put any comment.
Lipi apu said she also enjoys shopping like noyon vai and it is a time to pass with parents too.
Then Lipi apu asked about Amita apu’s favorite dishes. Amit apu told her nicely that why she asked it. Her list of favorite dishes are long like me. Amita apu why are you copy this words of my mind ? I love all of this that you said. Actually I love to eat. What you said I cannot write because that time I was in my imagination about foods. Don’t say about noodles. Oh no ! you already talked about this. NO one know how much I like noodles. Sorry apu I cannot hold myself.
Then Lipi apu said that Amita apu is good at cooking and I believe that too. Lipi apu shared her cooking knowledge. She thinks that cooking is an art. Hey apu, will you stop this topic then I will stop to writing and listen to your conversation which is so amazing.
In the past, watching movies was Amita apu’s hobby but now Amita apu focuses on professional courses and reading . Because professional courses has a deadline in December. Lipi apu wanted to know about her leisure time. She said that she does not get any free time now a days. Before joining workshop , apu spent her days by watching tv but now she is reading all the time. She said that reading increased her patience. She also feels that to be a successful person English is important. She also wants to be a banker and that is why she also takes it seriously because all question ins bank are in English. She also said that SEG is the best place for English.
2: Me and Poly apu
Allhamdulilah , I am lucky to get Poly apu as my speaking partner. She is a fluent speaker and hard worker. I am always amazed to see her enthusiastic mentality. May Allah Bless you apu. You always help me to continue our workshop. Hope you will achieve your dream very soon, INSHALLAH .
3: Sonjoy vai and Sayka apu
They started with conversation greetings. Today was their second time conversation with each other. Apu congratulated vai for his success. Then apu asked him about his current activities besides conversation. Vai talked with his roommate about SEG
Then apu told about her baby who is sick and maybe she will go to India the following Sunday. She also told us that her sister is going for Hajj. Tonight, she is staying at her father’s house and her mother cooked her favorite item. WOW!! apu is also a crazy fan like me of BD cricket team she also watches every match . Sonjoy vai also said that he is also a fan of Bangladesh National Cricket team and his second choice is India. Noodles and potato are Sonjoy vai’s favorite food. Apu, however, is not a foodie. Her baby loves to eat noodles, potato and chicken and riched food also. Loodu and daba are Sonjoy vai’s favorite games and he plays with his roommates. Though they are of different ages but have a good relation. They share their joys and sorrows with each other.
4: Nazmul vai and Moriam apu
Nazmul vai gave salam to Moraim apu they also shared their current activities.Nazmul vai is very busy now a days because of his office work.Today was their first conversation. So they introduced each other. Vai recently sat for his Honors final exam but apu recently competed MBA and a job-seeker . Then apu wanted to know about Noyon vai’s family . Apu told us that she is living with her husband and her 3-year-old child. Her father and father-in-law are living in Khulna. Vai is reading zero category post but he reads countlessly. Vai said that he also tried to read newspaper to test his proficiency and he can understand 90% of the newspaper articles. Apu wants to read more but she cannot do so due to her eye problem.Then conversation continued with our Razib sir. Sir wanted to know about Noyon vai’s reading condition. Then Moriam apu joined the workshop. She disconnected due to her network problem. Noyon vai was also facing the same problem .
5: Fouzia apu and Nushrat Sultana apu
They started their converstion with greetings . Due to network problem , the conversation took time to start. Then Nushrat apu wanted to know what apu was doing along with workshop. Fouzia apu told us that she was with her baby and was listening to our conversation. They introduced each other formally. From their conversation , we know both of them are from Chittagong . WOW Nushrat apu , her home is very near to potenga sea beach. It takes only few minutes to go to the seabeach from her house. Had I met with you in 2015 then I wouldhave visited your house in Potenga .
They also shared their reading condition. Nushrat apu is reading 2 category posts. Really I am also surprised to hear that Nushrat apu completed class 1-12 books many times. Hats off to you apu !!
Fouzia apu said that she is reading one category posts. Though she is busy she is doing well .I really appreciated your hard work apu. Nushrat apu also said that she loves to read story no matter how long it is.
Then Fouzia apu wanted to continue conversation with the topics of physical exercise. Nushrat apu said that it is really important for us and asked apu about her exercise. WOW Fouzia apu great!! You expressed about the importance of physical exercise like an physician.
7: Syed Parvez vai and Md Kamrojjaman vai
This pair of our groupmate continued their conversation with salam. Kamrojjaman vai asked Syed vai about what he was doing?. Kamrojjaman vai was sitting on her table and reading SEG post along with workshop. Then Syed vai said that still he could not collect books that’s why he cannot practice more but he intends to collect books from Dhaka. Kamrojjam vai already finished SSC and HSC level books .
Reading books and watching movies are Syed vai’s hobbies . He prefer Tamil movies over other movies. He also likes cricket. Kamrojjaman vai said that reading was his only hobby but he too enjoys cricket and football match. It has been two months since Kamrojjaman vai completed his graduation while Syed vai completed his MA in Management. Kamrojjanam vai is a job-seeker but Syed vai is full-time employee. Syed vai likes to eat junk foods while kamrojjaman vai wanted to know about his favorite foods. Vai also shared his favorite food and he also cooks when his home maid does not come .
Then Syed vai wanted to know Kamrojjaman vai’s future plan . He is preparing for going to abroad for higher education. He chose European country. Then vai asked about IELTS score required to apply in European universities. Then they discussed about IELTS process. Then they discussed about reading condition. Syed vai also gave some advice to Kamrojjaman vai. Then syed vai asked Kamrojjaman vai how many workshop did he attend? Today was his 8th workshop and he also see his improvement .
8: Obonty Akhi apu and Asha apu
Obonty apu gave salam to Asha apu. After a long time, I heard you voice apu. I am happy to see you. Allhamdulilah they were fine. Then Obonty apu asked about Asha apu what she was doing. Asha apu was writing our workshop summary and listening to people’s conversation. Then they introduced each other formally. Asha apu readzero category posts 8 times while Obonty apu is reading class 9 books. So sad for you apu , we informed that apu’s elder son was suffering fromDengue fever and she also attracted fever which is why he could not join workshop. She is well now. Mashed potato and lentil with rice are Asha apu favorite foods. Now reading is Asha apu’s favorite hobby. Absolutely right Asha apu , Obonty apu does not get free time but whenever she gets some time, she tries to read and makes snack for family. Then Obonty apu asked about Asha apu’s favorite music. When Asha apu gets bored she tries to listen. Obonty apu does not like music more but she likes Robindro songit. Good question Obonty apu , Asha apu’s job is music related that’s why she told us that she used to listen to music . Asha apu likes to watch movies that represent our culture and country .
9: Kazi Sajjad vai and Najmul Islam vai
They started their conversation with greetings . They talked about their reading condition. Kazi sajjad vai also told about eye reading method. Najmul vai said that his reading condition is not so good. Then Najmul vai wanted to know ifSajjad vai was a job-holder or a student. Though najmul vai joined SEG he did not take it seriously. After joining workshop, he is doing better . Today is11th workshop for Kazi Sajjad vai. Sajjad vai also shared his workshop journey his first experience. Kazi Sajjad vai wants to be a motivational speaker while Najmul vai wants to be a good Engineer. Then Sajjad vai asked about Najmul vai’s hobbies. Najmul vai loves to read novels. He then named few of famous novelists.
10: Sara Rowshan apu and Zobayer vai
Zobayer vai Gave salam to Sara apu. She was busy cooking for her guest while vai was listening to conversation by sitting in front the table. Sara apu wanted to do PhD which will help her to advance in her career. Zobayer vai wanted to know about Sara apu , then Sara apu told us that she is living with her husband in Dhaka . Zobayer vai just has completed hishonors. Then they talked about their reading . Zobayer vai is going to finish zero category posts for the second time. Apu is reading class seven books. In the past Zobayer vai used to listen to music but now he changed his habit into reading. Apu listens to English music. Then Zobayer vai introduced his family members. Then apu told us that she is a dentist , and she prepares herself for maters program that will held in August . Lastly apu wanted to know some funny childhood moments from Zobayer vai . Though our workshop time was over , we could not hear anything but we hope we will enjoy next time.
Today there were some new members who enjoyed our workshop. Sir told them to attend at leastfour workshops. Then they can speak. There are some reasons behind this. If you start speaking in your first workshop you may not be able to continue it for long and it will affect your your confidence. Within this workshop, you will learn the process and continue your practice that will help you to speak more confidently. All the best wishes for all new members. Hope our journey will be enjoyable .
